Another successful dinner party was held last weekend at Summerhill Farm, Devon, UK. The host and guests joined together to celebrate the importance of water; learn about Kenya; eat Kenyan food; and raise awareness and funds for KRA’s Global Giving August Challenge for Matuiku Primary School in Kenya.
The host made a fine job of preparing delicious Kenyan food, including a fantastic pilau and a side order of kachumbari! The night commenced with a celebratory toast to the importance of water and a clink of champagne flutes, followed by a Kenya facts quiz, and finally a an auction over the last Aftereight chocolate!
Lots of funds were raised and Kenya Rainwater Association thank the group for their vital contributions.
