KRA Chairman Awarded PhD
GHARP/KRA Secretariat congratulates Dr. David M Mburu on his PhD award in Agricultural Engineering (Soil and Water Management) by the Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT) in 2007. Besides his responsibility as the KRA Chairman, Dr. Mburu is also a Senior Lecturer in the Biomechanical and Environmental Engineering Department (BEED) at (JKUAT) and a consultant in different organizations.
Rainwater Harvesting Engineer gets a PhD
We wish to congratulate Dr. Stephen N. Ngigi
for successfully completing his PhD at UN
ESCO-IHE (Institute for Water Education)/Delft Technical
University (TU
Delft) in the Netherlands
in May 2006. He has a Ph.D
in Integrated
Water Resources Management. He was co-sponsored by IWM and
WOTRO fellowships. After graduation he has been employed by FAO-Nile project
based in Entebbe, Uganda. He is also a Lecturer at the University of Nairobi.
We wish him all the best in his professional endeavours.
