Partnership
Greater Horn of Africa Rainwater Partnership (GHARP) can only continue to promote and support rainwater harvesting and management (RHM) and complementary technologies with the financial support of development partners. GHARP thanks all partners for their support which has helped us achieve so much. Read on to find a list of our partners. Patty Hall, President and Co-Founder of H2O for Life:
"A year ago in 2010, when the women’s group in Kathungu asked H2O for Life to help them to complete a water project, we were inspired to work to raise the funds. Although the project did not fit our school to school model, we approached our friends, family, and specifically other women who donated the funds to complete the project. Women helping women! We believe that the work completed by KRA will ease the burden of the women in the area, and will improve the opportunities of the entire community."

Skillshare International:
"The EU/Skillshare project in eight semi-arid districts of Kenya, is an incredibly important project. It provides clean water supply and sanitation facilities for the most marginalised communities in dryland areas in Kenya enabling them to have better health and to secure their food security."

Fred Kihara, Mount Kenya COMPACT Projects Co-ordinator (UNDP)
"The project nearly all of the proposed activities, and to schedule. This is a testament to the strong management of the project by the community, KRA, and other partners, including the local administration and government ministries. The project will create a number of valuable benefits for the beneficiary community."
Andrew Wamutitu, Director, New Life Mission
"The New Life Mission/KRA project is already having a positive impact on the children in Mashuru schools. The farm ponds are allowing the schools to grow vegetables for the children in our feeding programmes to get a balanced diet which is necessary for their healthy growth. The community members are fully on board and all working hard alongside KRA in the project implementation process."
